Healthy starts here!

I have been an avid keto follower for years and struggled with sticking with it. I would lose weight, then fall off the wagon, to gain some if not all of it back. I was losing hope. I loved the way I felt on Keto-I had more energy, my joints didn’t ache, I slept better. I felt great! Sticking with it, though, was hard. I love fruit, brown rice, macaroni salad in the summer, I am sure you get the point here. All these things were stuff you are not allowed to eat on the Keto diet. (take that back you can have certain kinds of berries, in moderation) Anyways, you get the picture. Well then, a friend turned me over to the Arbonne 30 day challenge. Although I have not made it 30 days yet, I am only on day 4; I have to share my results so far. I have ENERGY!! LOTS OF IT!!
The bloating that I experienced on a daily is GONE… The joints that were aching, well, it is GONE! I am eating fruit, brown rice, and pasta (brown rice pasta). I replaced two meals a day with an Arbonne shake because I have enough weight to lose, LOL. I am also proudly down 5.3 pounds. In just four days.. that is right four days. I would love to share more with you and will as I progress on this program. Stay tuned for before and after pics (after 30 days, of course). Also, if you want to ask me about the program or have questions, I would love to hear from you.

Tying Gods hands

I have struggled all my life for control. I wanted control over the finances, the world, my children, my spouse, pretty much everything in life. It was not until I learned that when we try to “control” the world around us, people, situations, etc., we are tying the Lord’s hands, and He is not able to move freely. We cannot expect blessings or spiritual growth when we are merely pushing it or trying to control it. It wasn’t until I hit my knees and said, “Take it, Lord, take it. I cannot do this anymore without you. I need you to show me and guide me. Walk with me, Lord, help me.” Then I started to see changes around me. Changes started taking place around me, changes in my job, marriage, children, and the people and events in my life.

Did you know that when you want to “control” something, you are mainly showing that you don’t believe that God can and will do something? He will move in your situation, in your life, if you have faith. Have faith that he will help you, bless you, lead you to where you need to be financially, spiritually, in your marriage, in your life. Pray to Him and give it to Him. Then sit back and wait. It is all in God’s timing.

Mark 6:5-6 The Message (MSG)

4-6 Jesus told them, “A prophet has little honor in his hometown, among his relatives, on the streets he played in as a child.” Jesus wasn’t able to do much of anything there—he laid hands on a few sick people and healed them, that’s all. He couldn’t get over their stubbornness. He left and made a circuit of the other villages, teaching.
